Sacrificial love.

If I was to describe the kind of dedication that is displayed by our caregivers at Hope 4 Liberia, it would be with those two words. It’s easy to say, “Well, it’s just a job.” But imagine taking a job knowing you won’t see your family during the week because your heart for the abandoned is that great. That goes beyond just the need for a job. It shows a selfless spirit towards “the least of these.” They care for orphaned children while aching to be with their own and yet…they stay. They stay through the hard moments, drying their tears and celebrate with them through their victories and accomplishments. This is what our caregivers have committed to and have done beautifully in the past 2 years.

It hasn’t been easy. We’ve walked through difficult seasons and many of you have prayed as we have struggled to find a dependable consistent father figure for our boys. But, He has never failed us yet and we knew that it was only a matter of time before this prayer was answered…and it happened!

The Lord brought Darlington Benjamin to Hope 4 Liberia and he has willingly accepted the position to be the father figure in the lives of our boys. Living with them during the week, not only caring for them physically, but leading and nurturing them emotionally and spiritually as well. Please pray for him as he comes to mind and for the boys as well. Trust will take time and it will be an adjustment for them all as they grow to know one another and bond together as family but we are praising the Lord for His provision once again!
