Chorus:
Great is Thy faithfulness
Great is Thy faithfulness
Morning by morning new mercies I see
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me
Verse 3:
Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow
Blessings all mine with 10, 000 beside
One of my favorite hymns is Great is Thy Faithfulness. I'm so thankful for God's Faithfulness. Verse three is my favorite verse. I am so thankful for God's forgiveness for sins and His guidance. I love that He gives strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow. I'm so undeserving, but I'm so thankful for the many many blessings He gives.
Last October when Jim and I went to stay at Hope 4 Liberia for eight months, we shut down Jim's appraisal business (Premium Appraisal Services). We had a few employees that we had to let go. We also had to let the Lenders and Appraisal Management Companies (AMC) and VA know that Jim was taking an extended leave of absence of eight months (October 2025 - May 2026). As the head of our household and the "breadwinner" for our family this was a big step for Jim to just let go of all that he had worked for and built over the past 20 years. In his words he said he had a "terrified peace" about it.
I had set his extended leave of absence with the Lenders, VA, and AMCs to end on May 29. We have never had more than a two-week leave of absence before this. So, we had no idea what would happen with Jim's business when we returned to the US. On May 30 Jim started getting appraisal orders from the Lenders, VA, and AMCs that we had set "on hold." Thankfully we were able to work while we have been in the US this summer in Jim's appraisal business. God is faithful!
As I write this, we have less than 72 hours before we head to the airport to return to Hope 4 Liberia. We will come back to the US for the summer in May 2026. We're excited to see our H4L family and we are thankful and so very blessed as we sing with the song writer, "All I have needed Thy hand hath provided, Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me.'
Love in Christ,
Janelle
