Liberia’s education system faces deep, long-standing challenges. Many children don’t finish primary school, and even fewer make it to secondary education. Across the country, schools struggle with overcrowded classrooms, a shortage of trained teachers, and a lack of basic learning materials. In rural areas, the situation is even worse—poor infrastructure, economic hardship, and limited access to quality education leave thousands of children behind.
At Hope 4 Liberia, we are doing everything in our power to change that reality for the double orphans under our care.
Our Mission: A Different Kind of School
We run our own school system right here at the orphanage. It’s built around one goal: giving every child the best education possible, no matter the odds. We can’t fully escape the challenges of the Liberian system, but we’ve created a learning space where care, structure, and quality education come first.

Our goal is simple: raise a generation of learners who will one day lead the way in transforming Liberia’s future.
That means:
Supporting children who struggle with foundational subjects like reading and math
Providing one-on-one guidance and modern teaching tools
Giving every student the chance to thrive, regardless of where they come from
Why iPads Matter Right Now
As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we’re working to equip our most struggling students with new tools to help them catch up and succeed. Right now, we need four iPads to use as learning support devices in our classrooms.

These iPads will allow us to:
Use educational apps that adapt to each child’s learning level
Offer extra practice in reading and math—two subjects where many fall behind
Track progress more effectively so teachers can provide targeted help
Engage students through games, videos, and interactive lessons
With protective cases and screen guards, each iPad setup costs just a little over \$300. It’s a small investment with a life-changing impact.
The Bigger Picture
We’re not just trying to improve grades—we’re working to build confidence, spark curiosity, and equip our children with the tools they need to navigate a changing world. In a country where so many students don’t get the education they deserve, we’re creating a new model: one built on care, quality, and opportunity.
The iPads are part of a larger effort to modernize our approach to learning. We’ve already introduced small group teaching, extra tutoring, and project-based lessons. But to keep growing, we need better tools. That’s where you come in.
How You Can Help

We’re inviting friends, supporters, and partners to help us purchase these four iPads ahead of the new school year. Each one represents a major step forward for a child in need.
You can:
Purchase an iPad directly from our Amazon Gift Registry
Donate the cost of one setup—around $322 including accessories
Share this campaign with others who care about education and opportunity
Building for the Future
We believe our children will help build a better Liberia. To do that, they need more than hope—they need a strong education, guided support, and the right tools. This is your chance to put something powerful in their hands.
Together, let’s make sure no child is left behind simply because they were born into hardship. Let’s give them the tools to rise.
Join us. Help us get ready for the school year. Help us put learning into their hands.
